LESSON 2 - Measurement Units

In this lesson, I'm going to talk about the units of measurement we'll be using throughout the course and why.

In the world of surfing, the Imperial System of Measurements was consolidated, that is, yards, feet and inches, which are basically used in the United States and England.

The rest of the countries basically use the International System, the Metric System, kilometers, meters, centimeters, millimeters...

So, this class will help you understand how the Imperial System of Measures works, especially for those who have never, or rarely, used these measures.

In the world of surfing, nobody will ever tell you the measurements of a board in meters, and centimeters. So it's important that you know at least the basics so you don't get lost and don't mess up in front of any customer!
