Lesson 10 - Profile

In this lesson we will study the profile of the board. Many shapers consider foil and profile to be the same thing, and I think that might even be right, depending on your point of view.

But I prefer to adopt a more specific definition: therefore, the profile is the side view of the board. As if it were the outline, only on the side.

In this class I want to show something very important, the evolution of the high performance surfboard profile

Unlike surfboards and retro surfing, progressive, high-performance surfing is constantly evolving.

Therefore, we will pay special attention to the profiles of the high-performance shortboard, which is where the shape elements are taken to the extreme.
