Lesson 1 - Introduction to types of boards

In this module, we will cover the different types of surfboards that you should know to become a high-level shaper.

There are a multitude of types of surfboards. The number of possibilities is practically countless, as there are no rules for how we should glide over the water or how to catch a wave.

Let's now classify them according to what is most common, classic shapes that have been tested and approved by surfers over the years.

In this module we will talk about each type of board, the purpose of each one. And then, when designing in the 3D shape, we will make some of them so you can see how they are totally different and how each one has its own characteristics.
