Lesson 0

In this class you will learn how to make a wooden block for your Alaia. This class is named 0, as it will only be needed by some students – in this case, those who cannot get a single block of wood with the required dimensions. If you get a block big enough, you can skip straight to Lesson 1. Or, you can watch this lesson and learn how to make a block out of wooden planks that don't reach the required width.

Pay close attention to this class, as there are extremely important points that, if not done, could lead to a fragile Alaia, without structure. For example: the gluing of the wood to form the block can only be done to reach the width, never the length!
