Throughout the entire history of the Workshops, from the very beginning, I’ve always welcomed many parents and their children who come to build their own boards.
I might be biased—after all, I’ve built a board with each of my own kids—but I can confidently say that the dynamic between parent and child always makes the Workshop a deeply meaningful and empowering experience.
Over all these years of running Workshops, I’ve come to realize that the experience becomes even more special when it’s shared with someone you love. And when it comes to parents and children—that’s exactly what I’m talking about.
That’s why I’m dedicating this blog post to some of the amazing parent-child duos who have taken part in the Workshop!
These are just a few of the many parents who came to build wooden boards with their children and share in this unforgettable experience!
And if you haven’t yet experienced a Workshop with a loved one, maybe it’s time to create that moment in your own story.
The Workshop is the perfect setting to strengthen that bond—with structure, support, and quality time.
And now, for Father’s Day in August, I’m opening a special edition so more families can live this one-of-a-kind experience. Surfing with your child is incredible. But building the board together—that changes everything.
Thanks for reading this far!
Warm regards,
David
