Lesson 06
In this lesson, we will do the final sanding of our handplane. At this stage, the shape of your handplane should already be complete.
The final sanding is meant to smooth out the cuts made in previous lessons, where we used rougher tools to create the contours and details of the handplane.
The final goal of this lesson is to smooth the contours and keep the surface homogeneous and porous for the application of waterproofing oils, as well as for heat markings.
