Engineer by background, Shaper by passion
Shaper since 2008, when he decided to dedicate himself 100% to the art of wooden surfboards. David Weber has developed and continues to improve and optimize on a daily basis, his own surfboard construction system.
A few years ago, he had the idea of bringing this rewarding experience of building his own surfboards to the public, with his event that became popular under the name of David Weber Surfboards® Workshop: where each student builds in just 3 days (from scratch) your own surfboard, and at the end, you take it home!
Passing through São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro (Brasil), Nazaré, Ericeira (Portugal) and over 1000 boards already built under his supervision, David today is fully dedicated to the art of teaching – in search of a more sustainable world, expanding this art to the entire surfing universe, bringing for some an incredible new hobby, and for others, a new highly profitable professional experience.
